Amy Jacobs Catering and Sewing

So for about a year and a half now, Pudge's co-workers have been begging me to cook for them. By this I mean, make small meals/casseroles and sell them! I LOVE to cook and bake!! I have put it off and put it off so many times, just really not wanting to figure up prices and for fear that I might hate cooking once I started a "business." I have done some baking and cooking for his co-workers here and there. Pudge often takes leftovers to work and they ALWAYS get eaten! Therefore, back in November I officially started my "business." I make 2 meals a week, usually a soup and a casserole. I cook on Monday and I deliver the meals to DTI on Monday afternoon! It really has been so fun! It doesn't take near the time I thought it would take either and figuring up prices isn't as bad as I would have thought! Here are a few pictures from this past Monday's cooking ventures.

Groceries bought......
Those of you who know me know cooking is not complete without some "finger sandwiches!"
Some of the ingredients for......you guessed it, chili!
It's smells yummy,,,,,
This chopper is a must-have if you do alot of cooking!
Chili all ready to go!
Poppy Seed Chicken Casseroles almost ready to go!

Monday night my mom and I began a 3 week basic sewing class. Pudge had bought my mom and I the class for my birthday. We were quite surprised when this girl showed up and was taking the same class with us! I had never sewn anything until Monday....
TeePee bags, can you guess which one is mine and which one is mom's?

I hope everyone is off to a great start of a week!
